Trinity river closer, but Brazos river prettier and water clearer. I have bank fished and canoed the Brazos.River for 53 years. Good fishing! Access is key to doing well. Below the dam at road crossings, and at camps located on the Brazos.
Rent a canoe at the camps and you will have access to all “wholes”. Go a day or so after it rains to allow clearing of the water.
