Normally I would have trout, bass, etc.. report from Candlewood Lake burn I am out for at least 6 weeks with knee injury. Bummer. Enjoy all.

I do t use the Danbury launch area but lake is only down 1 foot.

Fred, The power company lowered lake level but after rain the lake is only down a foot overall. Bass have been jumping and active. Water is still warm.

With the 80 degree water have had to get bass a little deeper. This part of lake has cold springs, so despite extreme warm water the fish can remain active in sections around cedar islands. Bass have been very active over last few weeks. Conversely, I have had no luck on northern new Milford portion by the dam.

It’s versatile with 9 foot beam.easy for fishing, rope tow for tubing, or platform for swim and fish. Largest allowable boat on Candlewood is 35 feet.
