I usually go to yard sales or even better estate sales. I find the best prices there. I also go to my local B&M stores for bait or if I need something for that day (hooks, sinkers, etc. tight lines to all!!!!

If you’re fishing from the beach try a heaver weight, maybe a 2 ounce. You need to cast further out. And use a high low rig with either cut up real bait such as bunker or you can try gulp 4 inch minnow. That usually works for me. I hope this helps. Good luck!!
