Enjoy today! It's really all we have, Spring will be nice but today is not so bad.
I fish from Lake Worth down to Boynton Beach any suggestions on areas that can be accessed along the beach for surf fishing for snook?
I also have my Mitchell Garcia 300 they don't make like that anymore. Were really dating ourselves.
We sound like contemporaries. I to have been fishing from the time i was old enough to hold a rod. I'm in Lantana, Florida now fishing the east coast surf, with not lot of luck, but i enjoy just being out there.

Fish the Musconetcong River. You can access one good spot by heading out of Hackettstown on Rt.57 I believe it is towards Washington. Make the first left after the WalMart in Mansfield cross a small bridge park and fish that area. When l lived up there i fished it with great success. Remember if the water is high wade out a little and fish behind you along the shore line you just came in from. Guys fishing the fast current get skunked as the fish hug the shore lines in high water.
Yes there are some really big snook in the lake, my most successful fishing has been in my backyard on Lake Worth.
I had been surf fishing with not much success in Florida. Have surf fished in NJ and did ok on catching strippers and fluke. Hoping to learn some do's and donot's for the surf fishing in this Florida area.
