Spent the morning trying to access the river somewhere and ended up walking a ways up river from the state park there. Fished all morning from the bank using swim baits with no luck. Switched to blood worms and started catching nothing but small stripers. Nothing bigger than 16 inches. So our spot wasn’t real great.
Any suggestions where to go would appreciated.

Where might be the best places in Northern California to fish for Halibut from the shore?

I’m wanting to know if the salmon are running up as far as the Thermalito Afterbay area.
I’m heading there next Friday.

Next week I am working in Tahoe City, Ca. So I'm wondering where is the best spot to fish along the river between Truckee, Ca and Tahoe, Ca.

I want to salmon fish the feather River area near the after bay. Did it some twenty or so years ago once. Need season info and what to do/use.
