Has anyone been out of vermillion or Huron caught anything over 20 " in close - 1 mile or so.

Shore fishing for perch:

Yellow perch near vermilion are almost a fantasy,
They can be caught , not many people fish for pearch there , walleyes are the given targets. Try this fall when water Temps come back to the low 60s
Best shore lines are out past Huron and further east.

Well the walleye are certainly hunger out around 35 ft..
