1.SOLUTION: Common sense and courtesy.

2. I read all of the comments below your post. The problem is we can't fix stupid or most bullies. Most of us go fishing or boating to relax and have fun. I go for fun not to make war. The boat launch, marina, etc. is not the place for war. It belongs in 'Nam, Iraq and other unpleasant places.

3. I want to set an example for my kids, their kids along with friends and strangers at the launch. It doesn't take much effort to figure out who's ahead of you and who's behind you at the launch. If I'm not sure if someone is picking up or heading out I ask. If I'm not ready to launch, I'll let a boat that's ready get ahead of me.

4. If all else fails, I'll stand up to a bully. If the situation gets really bad, I'll defer to the marina operator. As a last resort, call 911 and try to get a picture of the dummy and his vehicle, boat and trailer.

5. Go have fun and catch some fish!

I live 35 miles from you in Livingston Parish. What am I looking at here? Is that speckled trout (school trout)? Where did you fish and what did you use for bait? The pic is not particularly clear. Need more information. Anyway, welcome to the site. My friend lives near you in Hammond but is a fly fisherman. Send more pics & information next time.

What and where are the specs and reds biting at Bayou Dularge

Keith, either there are no members in the Dularge area fishing recently, or they are not wanting to share their areas. If you don't get any responses, talk with the marina owners. If that doesn't work, do some map recon, and search and learn the area on your own. Finally, book a guide to come in your boat to teach you some techniques and areas, or go deep into the pockets and book a trip with a guide on his boat. Ask some questions of you teacher for hire. If I fished there, I'd share basic information with guys new to the area,

Dularge fishermen, how about sharing the GENERAL areas to fish with others. You don't have to share the exact spots; just the areas, baits used and techniques. If you fish often enough, you know the fish move with the weather, bait fish, etc. So how about helping Keith out.
