Agyle Lake is a State Fish and Game area about 8 miles west of Macomb, IL. It is nota terribly large lake but very scenic and the crappie, bass and catfish fishing is usually not bad. If you are in the area, another good option is Speing Lake about the same distance south of Macomb. It is a smaller lake but in a beautiful wooded setting with good fishing as well. Both lakes have excellent camping areas. Both lakes are trolling motors only.

I am new to the forum. I enjoy many forms of fishing. Bass fishing is probably my favorite closely followed by fly fishing and fly tying for trout, bass and panfish. It is good to have a forum for those of us who live to fish.
