I'm Don, live in Ventura, Ca. 62 years old, retired and an avid fisherman since my 2nd birthday. I grew up trout fishing in the Sierras, bait then dry flies for about 20 years. Spent years Bass fishing in the California Delta. Now, I am slowing down a bit and focus more on salt water. I try to get out 3-4 times a month on sportfishing boats, and a time or two each week surf fishing. Although I have been around a bit, I still love learning new techniques, and enjoying new adventures.
