Thank for the response. Just to let you know I caught two Tautog (Blackfish) using a Carolina (Fish finder) rig with a 2 oz weight with one inch sand flees on a 4/0 long shank hook. Caught them in the Ocean City Md inlet off the shore. Michael. Hope to start snagging some strippers in the next few days.

Thanks for this update. Have you ever used sand fleas instead of green crab? Regarding the rig, is this a standard hi/lo rig with two drop loops? What weight do you use? Thanks in advance.

Delaware river striper reports

I’m in Ocean City Md. Fished Back Bay (Assawoman Bay/St Martin Neck) caught two strippers 16/18 inches. This is about 20 miles SE of the Delaware River. They are probably heading up your way if the daytime temp can peak at 65 degrees for a few days

Sad news during the holidays
