Hi Georgia! Jedd here from Idaho. My best advice for newbies is this. Find a bass pond or lake. Buy a package or two of assorted colored jig hooks without the plastic. Buy a dozen night crawler s and a bag of assorted bobbers. Place bobber 2 ft from the jig. Break a crawler in half. Thread it up the jig hook then expose the hook.cast and try different retrieve or just let it Bob along. Enjoy!
Take that silly plastic jig off place half a night crawler on it like the plastic was. Put a bobber 2 ft from jig. Cast and retrieve slow. Stop. Slight jerk motion on occasion . Bam!
Hey bro. Try a jig hook with a live worm thread it up the jig hook like the plastic jig was placed on it. Put a bobber 2 ft from jig. No more snags. Bass love a fresh crawler !!! Enjoy!
