Ohio has stocked a lot of lakes and ponds recently. I am from north east Ohio and I love using spinners for trout but you might do better on a freshly stocked lake to use what the trout are used to eating ( power bait, trout bait) because that’s what they have been fed(or something similar) After some time when they get adjusted spinners are my favorite ( I’ve had the best luck with trout and smallmouth with Panther Martins) Good Luck!
The Chagrin is great except the place’s you can fish legally are limited. The mouth, Daniels park and later up to the polo fields. Last year I could watch them going upstream in the rapids at Daniels but the old dam is very crowded most days.
Fishing the Rocky River has been hit and miss. I saw some steelhead caught and some days it’s better than others. I’ve only went three times do to my schedule but I was wondering if anyone else had some luck
