The PA fish commission is a joke, had numerous issues registering A12 footer ,previous owner from Maryland registered it with a 4.5 obviously to beat a tax or powerlimit , they reissued a hull tag 3 times and was incorrect 3 times, final one was 16 foot,35 horse, 6 passenger 1650 max wieght 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Any thing happening on the lake as far as the walleyes ?
Just be super careful and don’t go alone until you really learn the area most creek mouths are pretty safe
I usually fish up north of there on Allegheny and comming up is a great time for evening wading for wallees jig and minnow and countdown rappallas work really good 👍
Probably not a good idea from chartiers creek, but at mouth where it meets the river might be good for some wallees guys were using McDonalds fries 🍟 there for carp if I remember correctly, something to consider try under the 79 bridge at outflow for wallees never tried it but it could be a possibility

We caught a ton of smalles and they were loaded with worms apparently from duck poops gave em to the dogs

Up north they sorta bed down for evening ,from my experiences I’m guessing because of movement of predators? But in a local stocked trout pond I heard smackin at nightfall and ran small rappalls and nailed the heck out of some pretty decent largemouths there ,sad but Slab ‘gills arround here are exceedingly rare but I still go after them on ultralights with 2 pound line
I was gonna take er to the local giant Eagle to have her weighed 😅😅😅😅since our bait store closes kinda early in the winter,she was FAT and no lie I got er on first cast on one of the worst day imaginable,freezing rain cars crashed everywhere,my wife questioned my sanity and asked why can’t I sit in the bar like “Normal” guys 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I couldn’t kill it ,big female spewing eggs my bro in law told the fish cop about it and I ran into her a couple weeks later and she said I would have received a stupid patch if I killed her ,I asked her to just think about that for a moment Pennsylvania is NOT big on catch and release hopefully she dropped eggs successfully and the excellent lineage continues to this day !!!!!!!!!
