Does any one else who reads any of the bass publications feel like they are pushing you to have a $125,000 rig to be able to bass fish these days. I realize that pros always want and need to have the best of everything, but it seems like the average angler is out of it because you don't have the $20,000 worth of electronics, side image, down image, 360 degree image, a $3000 trolling motor??!!( Unbelievable). Then of course the $80,000 boat, the ads in the magazines are full of them. I just feel like the bass fishing industry has throw the average angler out with yesterday's trash

New to musky fishing. I bought a small 14" boat set up for trolling. Need set ups, baits, and any tips appreciated.

Steel leaders these fish love to drag you around, I have had a lot of luck with spinner sits and large crankbaits. Never give up on your cast they will follow your lure forever until they finally strike sometimes right at the boat.

You are going to find the fishing in Indiana average at best lots and lots of bluegill some bass but not too much size, plus the state is loaded with insane lake people who live there and feel they own the water. They will harrass you and unfortunately the DNR is pretty much do nothing so many lakes are now overrun with weeds nearly unfishable. But I am sure there are still some places that are good.
