Thinking about some trout fishing in late April or May between Big Pine and Bishop with easy shore access lakes
Possibly Diaz Lake
I have a bit of a hard time getting around at 75 and mostly with a cane
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Boat rental would be a pontoon boat
Used to fish out of Newport and trips out of San Diego. My lower back went south on me so no more deep sea need to get around with a cane these days
I must admit I really enjoy freshwater and shooting clays which i do about 2-3 times every week
Well guys it’s been 6 years since i have wet a line
Thats all over now I finally put the shotgun down temporarily and picked up my trout rods
I went out to Laguna Nigel regional
Park on Thursday
Fished for about 4 hours total enjoyable even though I did not catch anything it was a slow day for everyone
Can’t wait to too next week to get at it again

Does anyone still use Velveta cheese as trout bait? Back in the day I used to use Velveta as bait just wondering if people still do with any kind of success
