Well in my lakes, all this depend on the water color. I also fish frogs in the grass on Braid and no leader. I don’t think they can see the line threw the grass mat. I also don’t see how they see it in dirty water, May drop shotting in clear water may be different. Hook Set

I have been a fresh water fisherman for many years. Started at 5 years old with my Dad. We had many good memories on the water until his passing in 1995 . I am now a tournament fisherman, in my local area of Damascus , Va. I small town in South West Virginia area. I am now 70 years old and have retired from the work force for 52 years. I still fish tournaments and I am a reporter for a local BassClub in my home town area. I wish everyone who does this sport to enjoy there self to the fullest, while you are of health to do so.
