Finally! Ive been fishing aurora reservoir since i was young and have never had good luck there, but finally it paid off! I didnt have a scale on me but caught a 15" large mouth out of the last cove closest to the damn firstthing in the morning on an old school frog hoola popper!. I estimated it to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 lbs. Released back into the reservoir after i took pictures. Caught and released on the 18th of may 2022.

I've been fishing Colorado since the early 90's, and have spent most of that time either fishing mountain streams or the dreadful aurora reservoir, which I have never done well at. Any suggestions on that would be great I've always wanted to catch catfish there.
