I have 5 crab rings and the line, floats, flags, bait boxes, and poles. $165.00 each reg. price. But willing to part with them all for just $500. 3 have never been used. 2 have been use maybe 3 times but are just fine. Now is the time to get ready before the September crabbing season starts.

Caught my 5 fish trout limit in 30 minuets with the wife last week. Just fishing in the channel between Swift and Yale lake. Power bait as always works just fine. All the ones we got were 13-16 inches. The little woman got 3 and I got 5. Not counting the ones that hit but I was not fast enough to set the hook on them.

I just bought property on a stonecrest in Moses Lake and wondering about fishing in the general area.

I was just there at Potholes last month. It was 116 degrease on the 3rd and last day of the trip. And it was pretty overgrown with algae close to the shore line. Plus the lake was about 4-5 feet low. But we had a hard time keeping the gear away from all the Bass. It was a blast. The wife had a grate time. I did get one 5 lb. Bass one day. And I passed over a 8 lb. Catfish that I wanted but didn't have my Cat gear ready in time so I had to watch her swim under my boat and into the deeper water. Moses dumps into the Potholes. And I know they both have a ton of just about every warm water fish out there. The wife and me talk about moving there but I live in the Vancouver WA area. So I don't want to give up all the trees and green area around me. Good luck to you guys.

You can try it, but I haven't. I make my bait with chicken hearts and Raspberry jello mix. Just take the hearts and place in a bowl. Shake a box of the jello mix unsweetened over it and mix it up well to cover all the hearts. Put them in a air tight container and place in the fridge for one or two days before heading out. I use one tub or 1lb hearts too 1 box of jello. You can cut the hearts in half down the center to get more flavor in them if you want. And they stay on the hook for a very long time.

I rearmed the two that I have because they deployed in my boat last winter. I was told that if you don't keep them away from foggy damp air that they will do that. And you have to rearm them with the ones that are made for that model or it won't work right.

Welcome Bobby. Sounds like you know what you’re talking about. Looking forward to your post and pictures of catches. We recently moved from Sequim. Missing the mild summer temperatures and the rain shadow. 😀

I used to live in that area about 25 years ago. But I like it better over here. However I would have found more fishing places if I had moved closer to Olympia instead.

Are you talking Hair jigs? Jig and pig, Swimming jig, Bottom jigs, Jigs with a trailer? The list go on and on. And what time of the year? How much vegetation in the pond? The question you ask is not that easy.
