Hi. I spent a year down there and I fished that lake pretty hard. The north end of the lake is the best for sure. And I’m not sure what your calling a small boat but be careful if it gets windy, I’ve never seen a lake get rough and stay rough like that one. My boat is a 19 foot skeeter and it got tossed around. The main issue is there’s very little shoreline, most of the lake has retaining walls, so the swells come in and are sent right back out. It’s dangerous. But there are some big fish in there. Good luck!!

Good morning, Thanks for your info. Never heard of that. Will look that up and give it a try. Don’t know if you have heard of Cabelas. I have one about 10 minutes away. I am sure they will have it. Thanks again.

Hello folks. This is my first post here. My name is Steve Taylor. I’m from Fort Worth. I like bank fishing. I like fishing for crappie. I like fishing at Eagle Mountain Lake. Would be interested in hearing from anyone with tips for catching fish here. Again greetings and I look forward to to hearing from everyone who shares my affinity for crappie and Eagle Mountain Lake.
