A friend fished tournament last Sunday. 9.8 lbs won it. Big fish 4.88. A lot of people zeroed.
They are catching a lot of crappies on Ky and Barkley lakes. Lake Cumberland and Green River too!

Have a safe trip #1. If it gets windy get the boat inshore and fish off the bank or around docks. Have a great trip and catch and release to the grease.

You can try East Fork Lake in Batavia, good bass, crappie and catfish lake. Fish below Meldahl dam on Ohio River, striped bass, catfish, bass, and sauger. Little and big Miami Rivers. Same fish as Ohio River. Close lakes within 50 miles are Cowan, Acton, Caesar Creek, Rocky Fork, Paint Creek, BROOKVILLE and Bischoff in Indiana, in Kentucky fish Kincaid, Bullock Pen, Boltz lakes and creeks and streams that run into Ohio River. Best of luck,
Dave
Mid April thru mid May. Fish standup timber. Look for baitfish the crappie will be there

That is how I fish for them. I like to get in front of boat and drop jig and nite crawler on the bottom and move slowly using trolling motor. Lifting and dropping jig. Sometimes spoons work good too. Same technique. Good luck let us know how you do.
