Hi... I have a Diawa Saltist 4000 spinning reel and I’m looking to pair it with a rod for fishing the Boynton Inlet. Can you suggest a rod?
Thank you for the welcome Spirit... Right now I’m fishing for juvenile Tarpon, snook, ladyfish and mackerel.
I’m using a chartreuse 3/8 oz jig head with a white swim shad, and fishing the trough without much luck early morning. Anyone have a lure suggestion they’d like to share?

Shrimp, frozen or alive seems to work best at the inlet. Unless of course you catch your own bait there and fish it live. That’s always your best option. I only fish lures, but will occasionally fish frozen shrimp.
