Does anyone have any information as to when the dredging will stop at Democrats point and how is the fishing at Sore Thumb?
Democrat Point It’s closed to fishing until April 1st,2022. They are dredging the entire bay areas of the beach. Even if you snuck on you can’t fish because of the undertow and currents the dredging is causing.However, if your a surfer with a permit your ok on the ocean side.
Sore Thumb Beach also closed until April 1st.
Don’t bother to fish at the Captree pier
Nothing in the water close to shore.
Let’s hope in 2 weeks when the season starts the fish may come inland for a bite.
