GOOD. Water lightly stained; 60-64 degrees; 0.21 low. Largemouth bass are good on bladed spinners, crankbaits, swimbaits, plastic frogs, and skirted jigs in 2-`12’. White and yellow bass are good with spoons and swimbaits in the creeks and feeder arms. Crappie are excellent on minnows and jigs near docks and creeks. Catfish are good on punch bait and cut bait in 4-14’.

These are mostly canned reports that repeat what a designated someone has told TPWD. Over the years of reading these reports, they are general fishing information for the time of year and not specific to the day or week. I’d say somewhat helpful but not to be relied on.
Wife and I are just settling into our retirement home on Cedar Creek. Long time fisherman on lakes across Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Three grandchildren that will be fisher persons ages now 3,3 and 4. Trying to learn this lake and looking for crappie spots on the south end of the lake without much luck but catching a few around older docks. Love the lake except for the large number of jet skis everywhere. We will adjust.
