Anyone fish the Eastern shore of Lake Superior in Minnesotan? Where and what type of bait and fish? Thanks

We are staying at Grand Ely Lodge and they have canoes to use free to fish on Sagawa (spelling) lake. Does anyone know of lakes around Ely that rent canoes on a daily basis to fish their lake? Thanks for the help.

Type of fish in the lake? Lures used? Or live bait?
