Being the owner of the boat. First invite is my treat! If I have a good time with guest and they behave appropriately. Help putting boat away, cleaning etc. They will get a repeat invite.
If seasoned fisher person, trips turn regular. I expect help with the expenses. This guest not having a boat is now on a boat rather than bank fishing needs to show some appreciation for the invite. Most seasoned fisherman understand the expense and are very much appreciate the invite and would like to be invited back.

But the show up, fish and leave person will not get a second invite! I enjoy sharing, enjoy the company of most people. But, I have no issues fishing alone.

I don’t target bass very often.
