Vac seal
You can drop them in a plastic bag to pre=freeze before vacuum sealing. That way you won't suck the juices out of tbe filets with the vacuum.

I agree with the above comment. If your lure weight changes you will have to adjust using the same method.

One thing I would like to add. Once the lure hits the floor the reel should stop spinning. If it continues to uncoil line you will end up with backlash and a bird's nest at the end of your cast. The delicate balance and compromise.

Also be sure to use your thumb on the reel at the end of the cast. Just as the Lure hits the water, if you can time it, use your thumb as a brake on the reel..

It will take a few tries, but you'll get it eventually.

What is the species order of spawn in the Madison Wisconsin lakes?

Typically at what water temperature do each of these happen?

Try the phone app by Navionics for $22 a year. It is full of info and has most of the options your going to use.

If you like it you can spend the 150 for a Navionics regional map SD card for your dash unit if you have one.

Switched from Hummingbird to Lowrance this year on a whim. New to owning a boat myself. From what I can tell, Lowrance is easier to navigate and use for a beginner.

Heading up to LOTW Canada with my wife for the 1st time this spring, hopefully.

I will be targeting catch and release small mouth. Any suggestions on lures soft plastic or hard would be greatly appreciated.

She will be trying for walleye and Pike. Will be using bottom bouncers and vertical jigs along with minnows for that. Any other suggestions? She is new to fishing and not very proficient at casting.

Thx
