thanks. sure did not see old house boat falling apart on the shore line.
perhaps we are at two different spots. mine is "beaver creek" 417 5465121
thanks i will look. I saw the houseboat still tied up at the docks but didnt see any boats that looked like just jump in it and head out to the marina. Could be there. Thats why i just got a rubber boat to get me back and forth.
The lady at bait store in town said it will remain flooded until sept. or oct.
She said that people tolerate it down there as that stretch of water offers some of the best all around fishing around.
Sort of feel like i got riped off as i paid $800.00 for the year but will only be able to use it for 4 or 6 months. but oh well lessons learned.
no . i even went there this am sunday . are they row boats? are they in water/ or on shore
i bought today a rubber row boat that will row me over to tall. i went down today and there was nobody around. the rubber boat will get me there and then back to my car and its small enough i can throw in my trunk .
i will just take my boat back to stall and jump into my make believe boat when done fishing. a pain in the ass but reality is reality.
thx for info
yes have the slip but today saturday i went down and thankfully i have not placed my boat yet in stall as the area is flooded so the dock is about a football field away. after talking to the bait store im told that the water wont go back down until sept due to the money the county makes using the generators at dam
she suggested that i find a cheap kayak or row boat and just take it over to the slip and get to my boat and then when done just row back to shore to get my car. looking into that now.
boat. i had rented a stall at a marina right above power write dam but gave that up as the change in depth of water is just stupid. it got to the point you had to take 30 minutes to just leave your stall.
not have
i was lucky enough to get the last rental stall available in jan and rented for the year. i have had over 30 "regulars " say to just leave beaver creek and troll up to the damn and back and forth and i would be rare to not
catch fish.
also being im into walleye fishing i was told that this area was made for walleye.
we shall see but im happy to have the stall. $ 800.00 for year i thought was a bargain. Plus it has a gated locked
fence with a combination so should not attract boat thieves
very nice. question please.
