Have had some luck here and there with the winter trout. This is a recent one in a cool location. A variety of baits are working from small spoons, meal worms and power bait!

Welcome to the stage Doc, that's a nice trout. Chiropastor. Gotta love it. Thanks for the photo, we love those.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while! Thanks!
In the Atlantic Ocean, about 20 miles out trolling with lures. We got 22 total and were allowed to keep three. They are delicious on the grill!
Was able to get a bucket list fish and a couple of personal bests. Bucket list was a landlocked Atlantic Salmon and catching bluefin tuna. Got my PB striped bass at 49inches and PB rainbow trout at 24 and 1/2 inches!
Hopped on here from the recommendation of a user, green frog. I enjoy catching whatever species in my area with whatever works. In my area of Hunterdon County that is trout, bass and sunfish. In saltwater, I generally fish for striped bass, black sea bass, fluke or summer flounder and blackfish! I enclosed a pic of a larger local rainbow trout, a good one! On a side note, I am a Pastor and a chiropractor. Some people call me their ChiroPastor hence the name fishdoctor!
