My wife loved the boat didn't care for the fishing. She is more of a recreational boater. Love's the water and was constantly jumping off while I was under way. Dumb and dangerous. I will let you know when any local trip comes up.
Yeah it is that is what is good about surf and jetty and fishing the inlets. I'm only 45 minutes away from AC, but I like North Jersey all the way up to Sandy Hook. I just need gas money and time sometimes I go at night depending on the tides and weather. Most of the time I go alone sometimes I take the wife but she's not that much fun, tried to get her involved a few times and it didn't take. We try to run a trip out of the bar at least a couple of times a year. Went to Florida the end of March and had a great time, definitely going to go back next year it only cost about 350 a man. That's why I am going to keep working at the bar. You have about an hour just to get to me. I would like to plan something after the Hunting season is over. It's never too early to make plans, you can always change them.
I get fishing reports from some headboats down the shore the Miss Belmar Princess reported nice striper fishing today if you are interested.
Sold my boat 2 years ago, me and Bernie were talking about going in on something for the shore. I am missing archery season right now but Doc's getting his time in. I expect to be up Sullivan for Buck season. Doc and Rosa Have a place down Indian river and him and Rosa just bought a new little boat this year. We will have to get together just for old times. Bernie is going to have a benefit for me either sometime November or beginning of December, I know you weren't Drinking but it would be good to see you anyway. I will let everyone know that we are talking. I want to get some striper fishing in before the run is over, I hope it lasts a little while longer. I might try next week if the weather holds When I am not hunting I am fishing we are not going to get any younger. That doesn't mean I don't go trout and bass and anything else that I can catch. We definitely have to get together soon.
