Fred, it was a big leap for me......I was sold on the touch screen programming and the ability to remotely run trolling motor (when I save enough play money for that motor guide I5)
Got it on Black Friday last year for $599.
Worth every cent coming from this :

Loving my elite9ti, my original locater looked like black and white Tetris

Never had been here and came up with the family so my fishing time was limited to a few hours each day. Day 1 I got a small bass and had a couple large northern follow my bait up. Those were on a DT-6 crankbait, pulling through bait away to not ruin my gear on the two pike. Day 2 I got 4 bass in about 2 hours about 12-14” on a suspending jerkbait in silver, Air about 48deg and sunny. Day 3 temp had tanked and was 26Deg air in AM and about 38 when I was out. Caught 4 bass in 2 hours mostly 12”. All fish were by shallow small island cranking where it dropped from 6-15’ water where weeds were present. Not bad for dropping like 38 degrees in 2 days and never been here. Crank was baby bass color

I boat fish from my basic tracker boat about 15 times a year mainly for bass. I generally fish southern IL, KY, TN, IN, MI, and MO. I will try and remember to post anything helpful after a trip. Thanks for having me
