Good advice , but , here is some that's better. Teach her to fish while you are still dating, sooner the better. Let her catch the most fish by helping her as much as possible. DON"T hand her a used piece of crap outfit, buy her a GOOD outfit and show her the correct way to use it. My wife never fished before we met and I got her ( really hooked ), so much so, that she demanded we go deep sea fishing on our honneymoon for 2 weeks. She thought it was the greatest thing that she had ever done, ME, those Tarpon royally kicked my butt ! Came home feeling I had been in a 2 week bar fight !

My wife and I won quite a few Walleye and Bass tourneys with her catching more than her half of the fish ! She
caught a world record Sand sturgeon and released it and then caught a bigger one that she weighed and entered.
She could back a boat better than any of my fishing friends and we could recover our boat and be off the ramp in under 2 minutes flat ! Never once thought about leaving her home !

Chile story reminds me of the last cruise the wife and I went on, it sailed 2 hours late as they had to hold the ship because they ran out of Budweiser before they had the gang plank up ! guess they hadn't dealt with 1500 midwest beer drinkers before ! Most from Iowa .
