Well the mullet run an October weather has been good for the last two, three weeks , some big bull reds on finger mullets, Tarpon also show up and feeding on the mullets, Sheepshead also show up biting good in fiddlers and mussels, Just be ready to pay your taxes as there is a shark or maybe a few that had learn how to get an easy meal, guy next to me end up with just a sheepshead head as a souvenir and he thought had a red for a moment, also another guy have his red cut in half, I myself have my drag run , reel spin like crazy till line broke, all this was East of buy#1 by the river side of the South Jetties. I have seen this behavior at the fishing heavens around the 10+ mile zone , but never seen right at the jetties . Have a look of one or the one and it look like a small bullshark it wasn't bigger than 3.5 feet.

Well I have been always, a fisherman's enthusiast , and At one point in my life a professional fisherman in the Cuban Fishing Fleet in the 80's. Here in the States I had the pleasure to live in several States and abroad during my 22 years of service in the U.S Navy. so I learn a few tricks, and notice how the same species can change according the habitat, so I always follow the locals advice whereever I went. Now that I am retired and living in NE Florida, have more time to catch my favorite fish for the season. I looking forward to learn new tricks, and share my humble experiencies.
