New Years 2021 ...... walleye are still being caught in numbers as of this date. I live in Huron , exercise daily by the city free ODNR launch. It been a banner year for COVID fisherman. What better way to practice safe distance... go fishing.
Lake Erie from Sandusky east to Lorain and out to the island area has been great thru fall and up to this day. The days now thru March will be iffy. Yet you will still catch some great fishing days , by watching the weather. The Huron ODNR launch has had several days that you had to park your trailer in shopping Center parking lot cause of running out of parking at the launch. Just remember if it’s that crowded the FISH are biting.
Launch Huron and head east to Lorain, via Cranberry Creek and Vermilion on way.... you’ll score better than the Cleve Browns!!!

I’v gotten a small FISKAR brand. You’ll find them in a wifes sewing basket ( mine is a quilter and has several sizes) the 4 inch fits nicely with my gear. Good luck
