You should simply ask them for their “Man Card”. They are afraid to touch a fish.

I am not sure about shore fishing. I have heard great things about crappie. fishing south end from shore at Wilhelm.

Best time for perch is when the docks close in the fall and boats are gone. Fishing Linesville or Jamestown docks produce.

Rumor has it one of those losers is being charged with stalking his ex-wife and supplying his 18 year old son with fake $100 bills.

He is simply a phony. While he might not be banned from fishing for life, I would be shocked if anyone ever participated in a tournament if they signed up.

I have never been there but check out Raystown Lake. I hear it is beautiful and has all the fish you are looking to catch.

I Always tie up before getting on the water. I wouldn’t travel with a worm harness already attached to a bottom bouncer. You are just asking for trouble.

Murphy Law of fishing is always be prepared to tangle get snagged on clothing etc…. Take your time. An extra 1-5 minutes getting your line in the water is always better than 10-15 minutes dealing with a tangled mess with your line out of the water.

Head for Shenango - I have always done better crappie fishing on Shenango

I hear this lake the crappie hit all summer and fall both white and black. Doesn’t get a lot of pressure. Never been able to get on the lake always been flooded and don’t know it well enough.

There are a few:
Blackjack Swamp, Stewart’s Bay, and Red Cross are the shallow bays they stage and spawn on the North end.

Open water Find the cluster of boats on any given weekend this time of year, if they are not moving the crowd found the crappie.

simply put…. Respect the fish and respect the lake river or creek you fish for future sustainability of fishing.

I would recommend trying the lagoons if you are shore fishing. Some really nice pockets back in there.

Lesson 1 - always remember it’s called fishing. It not called catching.

I usually launch on the Isle side not city side. If weather is nice Niagara Launch, if too windy or chop I launch at the public launch State Park Marina

Are asking about now or in the future? Small Mouth picks up around May thru June in the bay. Lagoons have panfish all the time. I was hearing about crappie in the bay last on city side quite a bit this summer however I didn’t target them this year up there. Walleye can be caught in the bay but tougher to find. I usually fish in the bay for Small mouth
