My buddy & I fished there yesterday and it was a real grind.
We fished 4 hours and only had 4 bites and 3 catches - the best being this 3 pounder.
Our best lure there is usually and was the jig at the wood/shoreline 😬

I like your lure choices and hourly game plan. I use a lot of those same baits and catch some big bass but I don’t get out early and most of my fishing is on Lake Boon 😬

That is my objective - don’t waste time where there are no fish.
You still have to catch the fish that you “see” with proper lure selection and presentation but it should definitely improve you probability of catching fish 🎣

We are in that club too ☹️
We haven’t caught a bass over 2 since the spring and we usually catch a few 5s and 6s during the season.
We’ve been blaming Boon but it sounds like we are not alone.
It’s cold but I’m still trying to find the bass feeding zone before winter - and I’ll start getting my ice fishing gear ready 🤪
