Caught this 42 pounder while trolling for Brown Trout with a 4 inch Smithwick lure and 8 pound test Trilene. Hard to believe it was 17 years ago this month.

Try Round Valley In Clinton Nj, best in the state IMHO, deep and clear with numerous state records caught there. If you want smaller water in Western NJ, I know of a few decent options for that area too. Even though I am a PA resident I buy an out of state for Jersey every year.
