We have been together for 45 years she always liked to fish. She was so lucky that I bought her a new pole& real , she had a kids pole, I thought that would stop beginners luck. Just made her catch bigger fish Lol
We have a house in Guerneville, that was the 1st of the season just opened. Not giant but a good fight.
My wife loves to fish, she just caught her 1st steelhead on the Russian River. I was finishing a project @ my daughters house so she sent me a picture.
If the reel had a 100 yards on it why not mark the reel for max. I think you could put more line on it if you a smaller line as long as you don’t load past that mark. Well that’s my thinking
I agree they should lose their license & be band fore all contests. Put them on a wanted poster like the old days.
I want to rinse the fish off or it will be really salty. I have done it both ways toooo salty if U don’t. John
Nice looking catch we’re you in the Russian River . I have only caught Squaw fish this year, my caught a big one though about 8”,no eating there. John
I’m fishing the Russian River 4 Steelhead from the shore. Using roue off the bottom, tried some bobbing no results bobbing.
