I here what everyone is saying about different baits. but as a child growing up my grandfather used to take me fishing every time I visit him in VA during the summer. We always fished with nightcrawlers that he himself grew in his back yard. I still follow in the path that he had layed for me and I layed for my children and grand children. What I'm saying is what ever your preferance of bait, enjoy, be happy, use what works for you. And injoy the art of " FISHING". BE BLESS TO ALL MY BROTHERS.

I know what you mean.I’m 66 and disabled the same thing happened to me last year. Let’s just say that they won’t bother a disabled senior again. Then called fish & game, they handed it “PERFECTLY “😁
Hey I've been using ugly sticks for years, and never had a problem with them. Holds very well. and sensitive. I always recommend using the UGLY STICK. Good fishing and have fun.

I’ve been fishing for a lot of years and just used any line to fish. I’m interested in trying to use braid or mono. I use a spinning real and just curious about why one is better than the other. JUST A WEEKEND FISHERMAN
I think you should go to WALMART an get a $ 19.99 rod & reel put 10 to 20lb line from spider wire and tell me how you feel. That’s what I use and it’s fine for me.
You can definitely catch catfish with worms. I’ve done it,also my grandson. I even grow my own worms 🤓
