Winter steelhead, Spring Steelhead, Fall Steelhead all on a fly.
Excellent idea, I forgot about fish lake. Thanks very much.
Wow, thanks so much, this helps a lot!
I've searched, but couldn't find...
We're taking my 6&7yr.old grandkids camping at Lake Wenatchee in Washington State from the shore.
We'll be camping in the North campground.
I'm wondering if anyone might have some suggestions that could help the kids catch a couple of trout? Again, we'll only be fishing from shore. No access to a boat.
Thanks very much....
A recent post by Seattle's KOMO 4 News:
SULTAN, Wash. - Despite concerns from scientists and conservationists, the state Department of Fish and Wildlife says fishing does not make a large enough impact on wild winter steelhead to delay the fishing season.
The wild winter steelhead population in the Snohomish watershed has dropped by thousands since the 1980s. State biologists counted 28 steelhead in 2018 and 55 in 2019 on the Sultan River, a tributary of the Snohomish River.

Hello Steve2, what kind of fishing are you interested in?
I have a virtually new Sage Launch 490 9' 4wt with the original green Sage tube that I'd be willing to ship to you for $225.
I agree with the SIMMS....got a previously owned, but brand new pair of G3 Guide waders on Ebay for $300. They're awesome.
Washington State voted against following daylight savings time, now we have to wait for congress to quite messing in politics (their personal desires) for them to approve their (our) public desires to quit springing back & falling forward.
Hi folks, I'm new to your forum and now that I'm retired, I'm looking to getting my 10 year old fly gear back up to stuff for some fly fishing.
In doing this, I feel the need to find a couple of Ross CLA 4 spools. I have a CLA reel, but want to have a couple of extra spools.
So, I thought I'd ask you fine folks, see if you might know of a few that might be available for purchasing.
Thanks very much! Enjoy reading your responses to the topics. Especially the ones about finding a fishing buddy, (of the female type :>)) Fun stuff.
Hi folks, Sam here, new to the forum, living in Everett. We're retired now and looking forward to some traveling with our travel trailer and enjoy some fly fishing around our beautiful America. Especially here in the Northwest.
Just took an excellent fly fishing class from Pacific Fly Fishers in Millcreek.
Looking to try my hand at fly fishing with my hand-tied flies for Winter Steelhead in Jan.& Feb., and the challenges.
