Getting my first livescope set up. Where would be a good area to start out this time of year looking for crappie?

Hello, my name is Buck, I live in South Carolina with Santee Cooper being my home lake. I'm 68 and like to fish for crappie, bream, and catfish. Friend of mine recommended this forum. So looking forward to some good fishing reports and advice. So hello to everyone.
