I’m heading to the Tiburon / Sausalito area Tuesday & Wednesday and will try some swim bait fishing for Halibut. I’ll definitely try Paradise Beach Park / Pier - Tiburon. Has anyone been fishing from shore there or close by recently? Suggestions? Also may try Stinson Beach and possibly Tomales Bay and that area thereafter (have fished Dillon Beach, Lawson Landing, and Doran Beach). Anyone had any success recently at any of those locations?

I’d recommend calling Clear Lake Bait & Tackle — (707) 994-4398 — Jimmy and Jan are straight shooters — they’ll give you good current info & a lot of guides go through them and tournaments out of the eat end of Clear Lake go out of Red Bud Public Launch, and they are right there — they are in the know.

Yes, Doran Beach, the mouth of the bay below Bodega Head, North of Bodega Bay on the Coast.

Is there and good place to fish from shore there? I see you can fish off the pier at Nick’s Cove, but it is fairly shallow except at high tide. Any feedback would be appreciated— I’d like to try my luck there throwing swimbaits.
