6/20/22 Made the perch run this morning. They were not biting very good. Took me until 10:00 AM to catch these. I caught them with a albino color plastic pan fish jig, with Shrimp Pro Cure on them. It's pretty neat how the Pro Cure Jell stays on the jig. Even if you don't see it, the smell is still on it. I also caught two 18" rock fish. I probably could have caught more rock fish, but I moved away from them because I was after perch. Caught a few on Jerry's Perch Spinner Bait, but not many.
6/19/22 What's with this weather? It was 52 degree this morning. Had to put the flannel shirt on. The pan fish hit good for the two Hrs. I fished. I didn't use any Gulp Minnows this morning. I wanted to check out the Pro Cure Jell on plastic crappie lure. It works! I stopped fishing with 13 crappie and three bluegills.
6/18/22 Went to Suicide Bridge but not for fishing. Steamed Crabs, Steamed Shrimp and Red Md Crab Soup. LOL!
Hi Greg, I'm also in Md. I fished the bush river a few times many years ago. I also just joined this fishing site last week. Hope you get some tips from the Md. fishermen.
I'll be damn! What a small world. We had it made before they put the HWY. thru the Island. Yep, Glen Burnie East. I will stay in touch. I make a lot of fishing reports. I just joined the fishing site a few days ago. Stay Tuned! Thanks!
Hi GMAR1460, We lived on Kent Island when it was still country for about 25 years. Then we moved to FL. for 15 years. I can't go in boats anymore. So I fish from shore now. I can't give up the perch area I'm fishing. People will be coming from all over and mess it up. I hope you understand. I can tell you it is a river that runs into the Choptank River, and you go through Easton to get there. I sold a lot of fish in Grasonville. United Shell fish Co. Crab Deck Market. Do you know Danny at Crab Deck Market? If so, tell him Andy that moved to FL. is back and said hi.
6/17/22 I went for bluegills but the crappie and bass took over this morning. Only caught about 3 or 4 bluegills a few bass, I kept one bass for a friend. I stopped fishing around 8:00 AM. I ware out fast, and I beat the heat. Came back to marina to see who was fishing. I didn't fish. I watch this guy catch one catfish after another. He was using peelers for bait. He said they cost $3. a piece. If you want to catch some good eating size catfish, they are spawning in the marina. I caught a 5# blue catfish a few days ago,but didn't have a camera.
-6/16/22 This is hard to believe for me. I found my camera. It was in my car on the right side of where I set to drive. Right out in the open not down under. I think it was the Leprechaun playing a joke on me. I looked everywhere and it was right there. Now I have to cancel my order for the camera I bought on e-bay.
I found my camera this morning. It was in my car. I can't believe I didn't see it. It was right next to where I sit to drive. It was like working when you can't find the screw driver. You look everywhere, then you find it right where your working. LOL! Now I have to cancel my order for the camera on E Bay.
Haven't tried that,but i will now . Thanks!
6/15/22 Feels odd making a report without pictures. I bought a bottle of Pro Curs Shrimp jell to rub on my baits. This is the first time using it. Found out the blue catfish like it. I think blue cats are a very pretty fish clean blue and white. I landed on about a 5Lbs blue with my gripper. I caught three more about two Lbs. that I lifted out of water with 20Lb leader. I was fishing for bluegills, but I guess the spawning blue cats run them away. I only caught two large gills.I gave all the fish to a lady that walks around the marina every morning. She was so happy to get them. Glade she had a strong bag in her trunk for the fish. PS. I lost my camera somewhere fishing. So I won't be posting any pictures until get another one. I can post fishing picture I have store on my computer if it fits in on someones post.

I think they are the best to eat from the Chesapeake Bay. Bluegills are very good also.
6/13/22 I fished for about 2 1/2 Hrs this morning and caught these perch. Also caught four rock fish with Jerry's perch spinner bait. It must be a lot of 15-16-18" rock fish If I catch. I don't even fish for them.

Flounder is one of my favorite. Eats. πΊπΈπ£ππ
I caught a lot of flounder when we live in Venice FL. Not many people fish for flounder in FL. Too many other good fish to catch, but I targeted them.
