Fishing the ultralight setup with chartreuse crawlers at about 3ft. With a slip bobber...#6 Gamakatsu baitholder and 1/16 oz finesse weight. Saw it leap out ..casted to the spot and the rest is history

Good question J. I use a #4 bait hook with a 1/8 oz egg slip weight. #7 barrel swivel and a 5"x1.5" balsa slip bobber. 36-48" from hook to bobber stop. Hope this helps.
