No limit on the albacore tuna
Wish we had the Alaska big ones guess a 60 lb is good here 20 lb more likely and WA rules marine area 1 thurs or Sunday only limit 1 and only 4 for the year
Yeah the Coast Guard has its rough water training school here for a reason, the Columbia river bar is supposedly one of the deadliest waters in the U.S.
Love fishing, fresh or salt, military background Army and Coast Guard, so fished a few different spots, NY inland and Atlantic to Cuba OKla, all over Tx MS and WY now the NW salmon steelhead sturgeon thing but really don’t care if its perch out of roadside ditches or blood bait trot lines like it all. Haven’t gotten to go in a while but makin up for it with month of tuna and maybe some halibut off the Washington coast never been but they run some 45 to 60 miles out, learned some new knots for it Alberto knot for one. Anyone with experience and tips would be welcome, private boat we’re going for it off of inter web info
If you’re ok with catching some catfish buy a bag of the large hog pellets and start baiting a spot by tossing some in day before and during your fishing, Or a few on a reg basis, I have had people that owned docks and said no one ever caught anything there watch me sling some pellets out and get a stringer full
