Very beautiful picture. We enjoy riding the train through the Rockies to see our son and family on the other side of the hill. Fall is a great time to take the trip. But winter has its beauty too.
But Randy, I just washed my truck, again.☔
Ditto on the many responses to you Graywulff. If you and your sister get to Wilber, NE this August I still owe you a lunch since the weather kept you from getting to GJ a few months ago when we got together with Shortordercook62, whom we haven't heard from in a while.
I do hope that you keep a record of all your poems. I can see a publisher being interested in them.
Enjoy the water every time you can. It makes me a little envious of you. 🥴
But sometimes you have to take it no matter how you get them. Thanks for keeping the smiles going!
I enjoyed reading these from both of you Plumbob and bc. I will vote for #4 being best also. My in-laws had a small store in a small town and offered anything a person might need, and if they didn't have it they would have it the next day.
Somewhere it's written "in everything give thanks" and looking forward to seeing what you post each very early morning when I can not sleep is one of the things I'm thankful for. It helps keep me from being to irritable from the lack of sleep.
From one of us here in the middle we say thanks for your prayers and concern. Thursday night we got over 4 inches of rain with tornado's less than ten miles away. A friend who lives in Lincoln, NE "just happened" to be on the south side of town when there was a tornado on the north side where she lives. But then there's Elkhorn, NE which was hit so very bad. I have lost track of the people I used to work with who live there so all I can do is hope they are alright. It might be interesting to see if there are any stories put here on the Stage.
Again, thanks for your prayers for people you have never met.
We remember and have memories of all of these, even trying to play the game that goes with the game pieces. I guess we're officially old and not 39.95 anymore. Have another great day Graywulff and all.
Another good poem and congrats on not getting skunked.
Thanks Fredfish for sharing your pictures and congrats on your catches. Some days I miss fishing for bass but trolling for walleye is so much easier on an old man. Fish On!!

Something you don't think about much when you're young 👍👍
You are so right Grizzly. There are many things I wish I did with my boys when they were young but there was work that had to be done. Self employment didn't allow much time off. I was thinking about that this morning while talking to my oldest son.
An update on my good morning. I just checked the rain gauge and found that we got 4 & 4/10's of an inch of rain last night. So glad that we live on top of the hill. Found some big nightcrawlers on the driveway too that we hope to feed to some walleye next week.
Happy birthday Graywulff and many more to come. You are a beacon of inspiration to us all!!
It's in the low 50's now and raining and with rain for the weekend. I will let you have my share of pretzels Doug. They're not my favorite snack no matter how you serve them.
