I'm with saw1 get your self some power bait Iike the ones with the garlic flavor. And maybe some of the P.B mouse tails. I'm not sure what the vegetation is like down there. But up here in the Eastern part of the Bay Area where I'm at. We get a lot of growth from it. So I like using longer leaders than most do. Just long enough so you can still cast and the fish be netted. I like inflating the worms and using a mini mellow together. The mellow's more for the tell than for bait. It lets you know that your worm is still floating and not just sitting on the bottom. So if you see the mellow floating, you may have missed a bite or it's time to check it anyways. I hope this helps you out some. And I'll let you in on a little secret these no such thing as the secret handshake. It's all about how you hold your tongue while fishing. Oh and the use of some kind of trout scent can be helpful also. Be it spray or a gel type. l like the spray myself others like the gel. But that's a debate for another day and time. I'm looking forward to get back at it again. As soon as this weather front we have got going on here passes. And this wind sits down a bit. I have a weather station set up in my backyard I'm up on hill. Late Tuesday afternoon it was showing gusts of wind up 45mph. My wife's greenhouse almost took off and did a Wizard of Oz on us. Right now I got it stashed behind the shop trying to figure out what to do with it.

I had a rebuild kit for it the whole kit and caboodle including a set of new brushes for it. That's been sitting on shelf in the shop collecting dust for longer than I can remember. It's already back together happily the armature didn't show any signs of it being out of wack so that was good. But brushes were in bad shape. To be honest I don't think I've ever seen brushes worn down this far before. Maybe just short of probably doing some damage to the armature. Yeah I still need to barrel test on it still.

From Saturday but it didn't work out that way. It's been about 1.5 to 2 yrs since the last time. I had my boat on the water. Due to some medical issues man it sucks getting old. Anyway I'd spent a couple of days going over everything on the boat so I'd thought I wouldn't have any issues out on the water. But it didn't work out that way. I about 45 min into the day. My bow mount trolling motor picked up a wicked vibration. I thought that maybe I hit something under water. So I tried changing out the prop just to see if it would didn't make any difference and it didn't. So I just called it a day. The only pic I have to share from this trip is of my 1st mate at the helm as I'm on my way back from park the truck.

I never said it was the same I said it reminded me of a time. When I was younger. So she places an order the guy in front of her pays for her order and she never gets it. So My buddy places and order I paid for it and he never gets his food either.
So I guess yeah it's kind of the same. And when I read that was mean. The 1st thing that popped into my head was participation trophy. Where you a participation trophy kid growing up.

Thanks Ranger625 exactly that's the kind of things you do to good buddies when you can get away with it or not. And if the shoe was on the other foot I expect the same from them.

What do ya mean ya shouldn't have done it. There are just too many people out there these days. That feel and act like they are entitled to everything first. And everyone else is below them. I say 👍 and if you have the funds buy their meal everytime. And go feed a homeless person or 2 with it. I call that a win/win. This reminds me of when I younger me and a buddy had rented one half of duplex home. And when the other half became available to rent we had some friends the rented the other side. But since we were closer to the street. The pizza guy always had to walk past our place 1st and if we could catch him before he'd get to our our other friends place 1st We'd just buy their pizza and not say anything about to them. But they finally figured it, but man we ate a lot pizza before they did though. It could have been all the empty pizza boxes.

I'm not sure about going for the whole 3 days yet, I still have to run it past the boss first (wife), but if not for the weekend. I'm planning on going up for the day on Saturday

Yeah I've done it, right after a fresh plant thinking the same. I'd grab small handful from my side yard as
I was hooking up my boat. Or I did until my wife caught me. But I really can't say if it helps or not either. But it looks good on paper.

I was just talking to my wife about this. She works as a book keeper at the local high school. And she said just last the school had fund raising carnival at lunch time where all the student clubs could sell drinks, pizza or what ever to raise money for their club. And she said one of the clubs ended up getting passed one of these For Motion Pictures Purposes” and “Not Legal funny movie money 100.00 Bill. She talk to the bank about it and they said that going around now.

Yeah I've always thought about that but it was mainly about the kind people that partake in any kind of poaching be it fish or or be it game. What other kinds of things are they up to and doing?
