Went out Sunday morning early to turtle bay with my friend Bill.
First cast for me and Bill instant Hook up.
A Jack for me and Bill couldn't turn his fish.
So we chased it down but the line got cut.
We had non stop action for 2.5 hours.
We boated over 100 fish trout, lady fish, Jack's, catfish, grouper. We left after 5 hours with the fish still biting.
We hooked mostly lady fish.
I fished a jig
With a soft plastic and teaser Hook with a Grubb.
Had 5 double Hook-ups.

A great day, for sure, Norman, thanks for sharing.

Watching your loved ones pass away is much harder to do. I was blessed to have very close relationships with my family and friends, even knowing that they are with the Lord.

I have one younger brother who's terminal with heart failure and most likely, I will out live him, even though, I'm 12 years older than he we lost his twin last July perfectly healthy, but dropped dead on his bedroom floor.

We should always be thankful for the time we have together with our loved ones, knowing we're not promised tomorrow with anyone we love nor ourselves.

8/14/23 I was catching a few bass with the 7.5" Grape Worm until the damn pickerel moved in. Every cast I would hook one but couldn't land them because of the weeds along the shore line. They would get hung up in the weed and I couldn't left them out. Had to break my line and start over. Must have hooked and lost six or eight of them. The one in the picture is a small one. the ones I lost were large ones. All on the Grape worm.

You definitely had some action, andy. Thanks, for sharing.

Welcome to the Stage, Tim. We do love pictures of just about anything. I hear they make Snap-On tools there. Do you know any girls that use them? I didn't say that did I?

Good morning Leo, Terry, Doug, Fred, John and the rest of the morning crew on board this fine site.

Bets of luck on that camper Leo. That sure would relieve the condo tension provided the neighbors at the camp grounds are to your liking.

Go get em Fred and Doug schedule in some down time. Folks will wait for a good man like you.

Morning, Bob. I have had most of them for students back then. Everyone gets along like family. Jim, the owner, and Brad and I used to coon hunt together, and he has only one rule. "Everybody is family here." And that is the way it is. I was more of his day than his dad was to him, and he spent more time with me than his dad.

Good morning, all. Beautiful day ahead, sunny with temps in the mid 70s. I’m sitting in the eye doctor’s office, waiting for a consultation about cataract surgery. I’m terribly nearsighted and now I can’t drive at night anymore…it’s time. I’m kind of excited about it except for the actual procedure, lol. Have a great day, everyone! 🤓

Morning Betts, not a big deal. The hard part is remembering to put the 10,000 drops in your eye. Have a good day.

Good morning Leo and everyone. That's a great reason for your absence last evening, good luck if you decide to pull the trigger.
62° and partly cloudy here, going up to 84°with a breeze of 5-10 mph out of the west. Stormy weather starting tonight into tomorrow. I'm heading up to McDonough in a while, and try to scare up a few. Happy Monday everybody.!

Good mornin Leo and all sleeping in. 😴

Sounds like your gonna have a little coaxing to do, Leo.. You may be able to tolerate the condo a bit more if you have someplace else as a getaway.

I have a few stops scheduled today to look at jobs then loading up for more installs this week. Gotta make it while the sun is shining!

Have a great day peoples!

Good morning, Doug. Those were my thoughts on the condo exactly. Have a good day.

Why don't fish like playing basketball? They're terrified of nets.

This is kind of a sick one, but ok.

Good Morning, Stagers!!!

Overnight, Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Low around 57. Southeast wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Monday, Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 4pm, then scattered showers. Steady temperature around 60. East wind 10 to 14 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. The current temp. is 62. It looks like a rainy Monday.

It was a Rainy day yesterday too. Instead of us going up to their camper, Brad and Robin, came down, and we went to lunch at the Red Pines. While there, she was telling us about a close neighbor they have down by their camper, and her husband died and she was going to sell their camper and that we should look into it. Well, she got my attention immediately, not so much with Marion. Well, anyway, and anyhow, it ended up, I, not Marion, went up and looked at it, and it was very nice, with everything but the pontoon, golf cart, and kayaks included, I made a down payment on it, to hold it until I could get Marion down there to look at it. We are planning on closing the deal this Sat. at 11:00. The funeral for her husband is today and she will be busy all week, so Sat. will work, if I can get Marion on board. I think it is a super good deal. I'm not sure if they have WIFI at the campground or not. We'll have to see.

So that, folks, is why I was not able to say "good night" to you last night, but I was sure you would understand.

Have a good day, and please, take care of yourself, your loved ones, and others in need.
