Yes I have fished there by Boy Scout Is and done well. I have fished from shore at the ramp at the Mud Hole in Priest River and done well and was thinking about trying that with my yak.

I to have caught nice ones in that same location. Priest River area also has some nice ones.

I am in the process of building one for ice fishing. I have a motor and plenty of steel for the frame, handle bars and diamond plate aluminum for the deck. Now all I need is a donar sled for a track and tunnel.
Last week I actually was able to see one out on the ice and talked to the owner about it.

There are way fewer moose in N Idaho than before the wolves got well established, but a lot of them have moved into urban areas to get away from the wolves. Saw a cow and two calves on the outskirts of Rathdrum this evening.

Either of those times should be good for PL, I was born and raised there and fished it for over 60 years. Drop shot those Macs with good sized tubes or your favorite drop shot plastic. I prefer white or maybe chartreuse in that 80'+ of water.

I pursue Kokanee year round when I can find them. Also love to fish Smallies and all other available species when ever I hear they are biting.
