At a nice spot more northern N H. Got the bigger pike on a Johnson silver minnow with a brown grub trailer 20# test line no steel leader. Then I switched to my ultralight with 6# test and a swivel to 4# test with a small spinner bait and caught a smaller pike but not the one in the picture. I was in a canoe that time and couldnโ€™t move around. a nice bass did a dance on the water and got off. It was a good couple of days this past weekend

Awesome!!! Back in early 70"s I was working between Mt. Shasta City and Dunsmuir, on the widening of I-5 and new bridge over Sacramento River. I fished every morning before work, at lunch and after work for months (and a couple years). It's a great trout river, lots of nice Rainbows!!! Glad to see you fishing when you can!!!

Yes itโ€™s good to fish when you can , I leave my tacklle in my work truck mostly all the time. That must have been a nice place where you were . Awesome
