Those moments are what make life worthwhile! Here's my grandaughter with her first
Nice tip on watching your rod tip Steve. My question is, Should it be twitching/shaking like the lure? Thanks for all you help and advice.
Ben fishin most of my 68 years, and those are the days I dream of!! Hopefully someday I'll get the experience. Hats off to you for being the Striper King! I'm living vicariously thru you! Thanks buddy!
We’ll that’s one for the record and memory books! Congratulations
Congrats on the great day! Living vicariously thru you and the others here. Just had my shoulder replacement surgery, so won't be getting out for a while. Plus back to work in Oct. Good luck and thanks again for you pics and advice.
Nice fish! Last time I was up there, most of the lake was covered in hydrilla. I guess you found some open water. Thanks for the pics.
Hey Steve, I was out there today also. Thanks for the advice on lures, and trolling on the left side. Got a couple, nothing bigger than 18" though. Take care buddy
I’ve been following you and Matt’s outings at Riverfront, finally got up there and fished for an hour or so before sunset. Nothing until the sun was setting, then they turned on. Got 4 in about 15 minutes using a bass assassin twitch bait.
But wanted to let you know, Local 16, IATSE in SF, is in dire need of help. They can’t even fill the calls at some of the shows. Also the locals in Oakland and San Jose. Good luck brother.
Nice going guys! Was it raining out there this morning? Thanks for the pics and info. Hope to get out there soon. Thanks again
That's great! So nice hen we can put the kids on the fish. And Steve is a great guy for sharing his experience with us. ENJOY!
Rode our bikes around the lake a month or so ago, and the majority of the lake was covered in hydrilla. So a moss rat, Boohyah frog, or floating worm would be useful. Maybe fishing the edges of the grass? There are some good fish in there, but getting to em' going to be tough. Good luck
That's some dedicated fishing there brother. I know the area can be treacherous, be safe.
Nice going! Tough throwing weightless in the wind. I guess the wind and cold kept a lot of the weekend boaters off the lake. Thanks for the pics. ENJOY!
Nice going Steve! Where are you launching from? Might have a day next week to go out. Thanks buddy.
Steve, If you're catching that many fish with just a basic FF, can't wait to see the numbers going forward! Hope to see you soon out on the water.
Living vicariously thru the members on the group! Thanks to all!
